Not As Planned: Adventures With Michael Climbing Lenin Peak
In 2016, two friends, Michael and I, decided to climb Lenin Peak, one of the highest mountains in the world. We were both experienced climbers, but we had never attempted anything like this before. We thought we were prepared, but we were wrong.
From the moment we arrived in Kyrgyzstan, things started to go wrong. We were delayed by bad weather, our equipment was lost, and we got sick. But we were determined to reach the summit, and we refused to give up.
